 How many people are participating?
-Over 200 athletes will be taking part in this year's SISU Summer Throwdown.  There will be a Partner RX and a Co-Ed Scaled division. 


What are the movement standards for the two divisions?
All athletes participating in the two divisions should be comfortable with the movements listed below.  Athletes should meet at least a 1RM of all lifts listed.

What is the Cost?
-$225 per team 

Where and When is the event?
-The SISU Summer Throwdown will be on July 7th and 8th in Downtown Excelsior.

Where do I park?
-Free parking is available to the public behind the buildings on both the east and west sides of the 200 block of Water Street. In both of these municipal lots, there are areas for six-hour parking (striped with yellow paint) and three-hour parking (striped with white paint) between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Memorial Day to Labor Day. Outside of those times, there is a 12-hour restriction in the six-hour areas. 

A handicap permit, as defined by state statute, will allow individuals with physical limitations to park in handicap parking spaces.

On-street parking is available but limited to two hours. Additionally, several downtown merchants provide their own parking.  Parking will be tight so give yourself adequate time, some athletes may need to utilize street parking.  Please carpool if you are able.

How many WODs will there be?
-There will be 4 guaranteed WOD’s and a Final WOD on Saturday for the top 6 teams in each division.  


What time does the event start?
More Information will be provided.

Are there food options on site?
-There are numerous restaurants within one or two blocks of both CrossFit SISU Excelsior and the Commons.  Lago Tacos, 318, The Suburban, Haskells and Jake O’Connors to name a few. Here are some links to these restaurants.

Will there be medical staff available?
-The Brost Clinic will be on site for small adjustments and rock taping.  There will also be an on site EMT for emergencies if needed. 

How much are spectator passes?
-Both days admission is Free!!!!!  Come cheer on your family, friends and fellow CrossFitters and join in on the SISU Summer Throwdown Festivities.  Remember this is not your average CrossFit Competition.  Come help us make this the best CrossFit Summer Party around!​
